Sadali (Ajil Ditto), a student from Bukittinggi who dreams of becoming a painter, is accepted to continue his studies at ISI Yogyakarta, majoring in Fine Arts. Before his departure to Yogyakarta, Sadali goes through a taaruf process and is arranged to marry Arnaza (Arnaza Hanggini), a beautiful girl admired in his village. Since they already know each other, the arrangement goes smoothly. They cherish their remaining time together before Sadali leaves. Upon arriving in Yogyakarta, Sadali finds a place to live with the help of his friend from Bukittinggi, Budi (Faiz Vizhal). The residence also houses a restaurant and an art gallery run by an art enthusiast, Mera (Adinia Wirasti). While living there, Sadali also meets Grace (Shania Gracia JKT48), Mera’s cousin who helps around the place. As time goes by, Sadali begins to realize that Mera is the woman of his dreams, even though she is older, has a daughter, and is going through a divorce. Meanwhile, Arnaza faithfully waits for Sadali in Bukittinggi, hoping that their arranged match will eventually lead to marriage. She keeps in touch with Sadali through letters. Will Sadali stay true to his arranged engagement with Arnaza, or will he pursue his love for Mera, the woman he dreams of?
